She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. On November 8, 1934, she was united in marriage with George G. Westhoff in Preston Township. Mrs. Westhoff passed away at the county home this morning (Thursday) at the age of 44 years, 10 months and 6 days. Deceased had been in failing health since June, 1955. She was a lifelong resident of Plymouth County. Survivors include her husband, George and three children, Wilbur, Glenda and Gaylan, all at home. Seven sisters Mrs. John (Dora) Westhoff, Struble, Mrs. John (Alma) Onken of Le Mars. Mrs. George (Clara) Oetken of Le Mars, Mrs. (Della) Dirks of Merrill and Mrs. William (Hilda) Renken of Le Mars, Miss Helen Popken of Le Mars and Mrs. Harvey (Amanda) Haage of Le Mars; one brother. Albert Popken of Le Mars; one sister-in-law, Mrs. George (Clara) Nussbaum and 13 nieces and nephews also survive. Mrs. Westhoff was proceeded in death by her parents and one sister, Trintje, who died in infancy. Deceased was a member of St. John's American Lutheran church.
