Description	:	Emma Lillian Kibbe, daughter of Millard and Mary (Clarkson) Kibbe, was born December 1, 1874, at Randall, Kansas and departed this life Sunday evening, August 29, 1959, at the Lewis Nursing Home in Beloit, Kansas, where she had been tenderly cared for the last five months of her life. Lillie, as she was known, spent most of her life in the Randall community, with the exception of a few years spent in Gaylord, Kansas and in Colorado. Read More	Emma Lillian Kibbe, daughter of Millard and Mary (Clarkson) Kibbe, was born December 1, 1874, at Randall, Kansas and departed this life Sunday evening, August 29, 1959, at the Lewis Nursing Home in Beloit, Kansas, where she had been tenderly cared for the last five months of her life. Lillie, as she was known, spent most of her life in the Randall community, with the exception of a few years spent in Gaylord, Kansas and in Colorado. She was a member of the Class of 1897, the first class to graduate from Randall High School, and then attended the Academy at Salina. On January 4, 1916, she was married to the Rev. George Eugene Mann of Gaylord. After serving the church at Gaylord for several years, Rev. and Mrs. Mann went to Colorado, proving up on a homestead, teaching school in the mining camps, and organizing Sunday schools. She attended the University of Colorado at Boulder and a business college in Colorado Springs. They returned to Kansas in 1930 to care for her aged parents. Her father died in 1935 and her mother in 1936. Lillie became a member of the Christian Church in early girlhood, taking an active part as long as her health permitted. She was a charter member of the Eastern Star, and a member of the Rebekah Lodge of Randall. She will be remembered as a kind, friendly neighbor, one who never spoke unkindly of anyone. Her good life is a cherished memory of all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband on February 14, 1952, and by her brother, Charley Kibbe, of Terlton, Oklahoma. She is survived by a brother, Jesse Kibbe, of Randall; three nieces, Mrs. Ruth (Kibbe) Eaton, Anchorage, Alaska, Mrs. Midge (Kibbe) Flinn and Mrs. Bertha (Kibbe) Behrends, Randall; three nephews, Jake Kibbe, Randall; Lewis Kibbe, Sand Springs, Oklahoma; and Murve Kibbe, Jamestown. She will also be missed by many friends. Funeral services were held at 10:00a.m. Tuesday, September 1, at the Randall Christian Church, with the Rev. Charles Fitzgerald officiating, and Gene Snyder assisting minister. A quartet composed of Mrs. Maud Abram, Mr. J. P. Stinson, Ralph Anderson, and L. J. Nichols sang "No Night There" and 'Beyond the Sunset," accompanied by Mrs. L. J. Nichols at the piano. Casket bearers were J. P. Stinson, Joe Anderson, James B. Black, Vernie Flinn, Merle Griffitts and Will Behrends. Flowers were cared for by Mrs. Clarence Ramsey and Mrs. Charles Robinett. Burial was in the Randall Cemetery.
