She departed this life on February 5, 1948, at the age of 47 years, 6 months and 15 days, at the family home a quarter of a mile north of Ada. On July 25, 1918, she was united in marriage to Harry A. Parsons, of Omaha, Neb.; Mrs. Alice Broadwater, of Kansas City, Kansas; Mrs. Wilma Mae Smith, of Nashwauk, Minn.; Mrs. Helen D. Bates, of Chico, Calif.; Clyde W. and Harry Jr., both of the home at Ada. She also leaves two brothers, Harry Converse, of Garden City, Kans., and Guy Converse, of Ada; one sister, Mrs. Mary Hamit, of Scott City, Kansas; five grandchildren and many other relatives. She was a kind mother and a faithful home maker, who had lived practically her entire life in the Ada community. She will be greatly missed by her many friends, as well as the family. The body was brought to the L.B. Smith Funeral Home in Minneapolis to lie in state until Monday, when it was taken to the Ada Baptist church for the funeral. Services were conducted by the Rev. A.C. Cook, with the following pallbearers: Bob Ethridge, Deana White, Ralph Maholland, Henry Beichley, Charley Sidener, and Russel Cossel. Interment was made in the Ada cemetery.
