Description	:	Emma Louise Heitman, nee Wohl, was born in Mecklenburg, Germany on September 18, 1863. A few days after her birth, she was baptized in the Lutheran church at that place. When four years of age, she, with her parents, emigrated to America. The Wohl family came to Lancaster County, Nebraska, settling on a farm one mile west of Kramer. This was in 1868. When four years of age, she, with her parents, emigrated to America. The Wohl family came to Lancaster County, Nebraska, settling on a farm one mile west of Kramer. This was in 1868. The deceased was confirmed in Kramer Lutheran church in May 1878 by Rev. L. Donseif. There she was also united in holy matrimony with Mr. Fred Heitman on December 21, 1882. Rev. L. Huber officiating. Only last year it was their privilege to celebrate their golden wedding anniversary. This union was blessed with four children. Two sons, Albert and Louis of Kramer, survive her. A daughter, Augusta Holk, died two years ago. Another son died in early infancy. Besides these, she leaves to mourn her death a husband, six grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Beck of Indianola, Nebraska. Mrs. Heitman had been suffering for many years of high blood pressure and kindred ailments. She had been confined to her home for the past eleven years. She passed away last Tuesday afternoon, July 4, at her home four miles southwest of Kramer. Her age was 69 years, 9 months, and 18 days. Funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon at Kramer Lutheran church, Rev. Albert H. Cholcher, the family pastor officiating. Interment was made in the Lutheran cemetery at Kramer.
