Description	:	Emma May (Hale) Robins Parks OBITUARY: EMMA MAY PARKS Emma May Perks [sic] was born March 4, 1882 in Bates County, Missouri. At the age of two years she came with her parents, Bowen T. and Abbigail [sic] Hale by covered wagon to Greenwood County and settled near Eureka. She lived her entire life in Greenwood County. On September 3, 1902 she was united in marriage to James Arthur Robins. To this union were born three children: Harold who preceded her in death; Mrs. Mary Marshall of Eureka; and John Robins of Topeka, Kansas. Read More	Emma May (Hale) Robins Parks OBITUARY: EMMA MAY PARKS Emma May Perks [sic] was born March 4, 1882 in Bates County, Missouri. At the age of two years she came with her parents, Bowen T. and Abbigail [sic] Hale by covered wagon to Greenwood County and settled near Eureka. She lived her entire life in Greenwood County. On September 3, 1902 she was united in marriage to James Arthur Robins. To this union were born three children: Harold who preceded her in death; Mrs. Mary Marshall of Eureka; and John Robins of Topeka, Kansas. This marriage was terminated and in later years she was married to Burrel A. Parks, who preceded her in death. She is also survived by two sisters: Mrs. Grace Bradford of Eureka and Mrs. Leela Knox of Piedmont; a brother, Gilbert Hale, preceded her in death. Survivors also include one stepdaughter, Mrs. Josephine Dauber of Hoisington, Kansas; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn her passing numerous nephews, neices and a host of friends. She passed away Januaru 7, 1964, quietly in her home after having spent an evening visiting with friends. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Eureka. Funeral services were conducted by Reverend Joseph G. Morgan from the Baird Funeral Home on Friday, January 10, at 2:00 p.m. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
