Description	:	OBITUARY Emma Piper was born at Cosby, Missouri, March 18, 1877. She attended the public schools of Cosby and later the Missouri State Normal at Kirksville. In 1899, with her mother she moved to Edmond, Oklahoma. December 24, 1901 she was united in marriage to Benjamin B. Reppert, formerly of Valley Falls, now Branch Manager of the International Harvester Company of America, with his headquarters at Dubuque, Iowa. After their marriage took place in Kansas City, she accompanied her husband to Denver, Colorado, where they resided seven years. They then moved to St. Joseph, Missouri. She attended the public schools of Cosby and later the Missouri State Normal at Kirksville. In 1899, with her mother she moved to Edmond, Oklahoma. December 24, 1901 she was united in marriage to Benjamin B. Reppert, formerly of Valley Falls, now Branch Manager of the International Harvester Company of America, with his headquarters at Dubuque, Iowa. After their marriage took place in Kansas City, she accompanied her husband to Denver, Colorado, where they resided seven years. They then moved to St. Joseph, Missouri. After one year's residence they moved to Council Bluffs, Iowa, where they remained three years. A little more than two years ago they moved to Dubuque where her death occurred January 7, 1919 at 10:45 a.m. After the funeral service at Dubuque the remains were brought to Valley Falls, arriving Friday morning January 10. Brief services were conducted by the Rev. C. E. Holcombe at the home of Mrs. Belle Reppert, the mother of the husband of the deceased, and the body was oaid to rest in the Farrar cemetery, where only a little more than three months before, October 2, 1918, the body of the daughter Lois had been laid away. The deceased was an active member of the Baptist Church and the friends speak in strong terms of appreciation of the fine quality of her womanhood. She is survived by her husband, Benjamin B. Reppert; two daughters, Florence and Edith of Dubuque, Iowa; three brothers and one sister: John Piper, Wichita, Kansas; Oliver Piper, Wichita, Kansas; Oliver Piper, Bisbee, Arizona and Mrs. Nora Conner, Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma.
