Born June 11, 1916 in Braxton County, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Ada Herndon Dennison. She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-eight years, Kenneth D. Jones in 1976. She was a member of the Rehoboth United Methodist Church in Williamsport, Maryland. She was a homemaker, and helped operate a family farm for many years. Born June 11, 1916 in Braxton County, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Ada Herndon Dennison. She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-eight years, Kenneth D. Jones in 1976. She was a member of the Rehoboth United Methodist Church in Williamsport, Maryland. She was a homemaker, and helped operate a family farm for many years. She is survived by a daughter, Lois J. Whanger, and husband, Phil, of Corvallis, Oregon, and Dawn J. Morrison, and husband, Bill, of St. James Village, Maryland; one son, William Jones, and wife, Virginia, of Cle Elum, Washington; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; and twenty-two nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Opal Williams, and Jean Williams; two brothers, William Dennison, and Kenneth Dennison; and one grandson, Jody D. Spears. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown, Maryland. Pastor James E. Swecker will officiate. Graveside services will be held at Falls Mill Cemetery in Falls Mill, West Virginia on Saturday at 2:00 p. m. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Rehoboth United Methodist Church Endowment Fund, 30 East Salisbury Street, Williamsport, Maryland 21795.
