Emma had a total of 6 siblings with 5 still living, according to the 1900 US Census. Md Florence A, 25 May 1902 - 1 February 1996, Residence at time of death was Schuyler, Colfax, Nebraska. Living with her in Millard, Douglas, Nebraska in 1930 and 1940. There is a child, Freddie W Claussen, 1887-1899, who is also buried in Prospect Hill and whom I believe may well be a sibling. His year of birth and having no other family members seemingly present appear to indicate this is at least a strong possibility. Emma and German immigrant, Henry Bay (whose stated age at the time was 31) were married in June of 1901 in Omaha, Nebraska (# 10312) OBITUARY REFERENCE BAY, Emma S. (Mrs. Henry); 18 Mar 1952 OWH morn p 22 @ Prospect Hill Elkhorn* @ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Children: I believe Henry and Emma may be the parents of Norine K Bay (1906-1907). At present, I have nothing to base this on but the fact that Henry and Emma were age appropriate to be her parents, that Henry and Emma appear to be the only Bay family members additionally present in this cemetery, and the due to the proximity of their marriage date to Norine's birth. While this is certainly not enough to conclude that Henry are, in fact, Norine's parents, I feel the possibility is strong enough that it warrants mention here.
