Description	:	BIOGRAPHICAL INFO Minnie Clausen Schuldt was the daughter of Fred and Virginia Clausen. The 1900 US Census declares Fred's birth as April 1843 in Germany and immigrating in 1869, and Virginia to have been born in April 1862 in Minnesota. Their marriage year was estimated to be 1878. This same census indicates that Minnie, her parents, and 3 of her siblings were living in Chicago Precinct Elkhorn village, Douglas, Nebraska. Those known to me are: Emma Clausen Bay (1880-1952) Mary Clausen Schuldt (1882-1965) John F Clausen (1884-1967) (John seems to have adopted an alternate surname spelling of Claussen). Ella Clausen Ohrt (1892- ) Arthur C Clausen, born in February of 1898 in Nebraska. Md Florence A, 25 May 1902 - 1 February 1996, Residence at time of death was Schuyler, Colfax, Nebraska. Living with her in Millard, Douglas, Nebraska in 1930 and 1940. Additionally, there is a child, Freddie W Claussen, 1887-1899, which I also believe could very well be a sibling and who is also buried in Prospect Hill. He would account for the child who was deceased by 1900, and his year of birth and no other family members seemingly present appear to indicate this is at least a strong possibility. Minnie married John Schuldt, who was a brother to her sister, Mary's husband, William, in February of 1913 in Douglas County, Nebraska. By 1930, John, Mary, and family had settled in Elkhorn, Douglas, Nebraska. They were the parents of the following children known to me: Son, Eldin, b ca 1914-15 in Nebraska Daughter, Lorraine Mae, b ca 1919-20 in Nebraska ~ Md. Curtis C. Jensen, b ca 1916 in Aug 1940 in Omaha. Curtis was the son of Marinus and May Jensen. Minnie was widowed by 1940 and living in Elkhorn, Chicago Election Precinct, Douglas, Nebraska with daughter Lorraine according to the US Census, which was apparently taken shortly before Lorraine wed.
