Description	:	Enza "Inez" (Tipton) Graves, age 88, of Maryville, was called home to Heaven Thursday, March 19, 2009. She died at Colonial Hills Nursing Home surrounded by loved ones. Family, friends and all who knew Inez will remember her as a fountain of unconditional love, a faithful friend and a compassionate caregiver. Born Feb. 24, 1921, Inez was the eldest of seven children born to Hobert and Ida Tipton. She grew up in Louisville, TN, attended Friendsville High School and married Arthur H. Graves in 1944. Born Feb. 24, 1921, Inez was the eldest of seven children born to Hobert and Ida Tipton. She grew up in Louisville, TN, attended Friendsville High School and married Arthur H. Graves in 1944. The young couple moved North several years later, eventually settling in Maryland. They raised three children there before returning to East Tennessee in 1970. After the death of her husband in 1972, Inez continued to live at Gardenvale Apartments in Maryville, where for 36 years; she helped look after ailing neighbors and nurture her grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Inez was preceded in death by half-brother Max Underwood and other siblings Ruth Meads, Reva Vermule and Ray Tipton. She is survived by: son, David M. Graves (Jeannie) of Frederick, Md.; daughters, Marsha C. Graves and Jeana L. Courtney, both of Maryville; brothers, Lymen B. Tipton (Fran) of Mt. Morris, Mich., Oscar Tipton of Flint, Mich., and Hugh Tipton (Mary) of Mobile, Ala.; grandchildren, John LeQuire (Pam), Rick Courtney (Elizabeth) and Candie LeQuire Hopkins (Glenn), all of Maryville, Brian Courtney of Nashville, TN, Jeana Graves and Justin Graves, both of Frederick, Md.; seven great-grandchildren; special niece Lana Branson (Gene) and family, and numerous nieces and nephews. A brief service will occur at 7:00 P.M. Sunday March 22, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home with Brother Tim Hamilton officiating. Family and Friends will meet for a graveside service Monday 11:00 A.M. March 23, 2009 at Zion Chapel Baptist Church in Louisville, TN. The family will receive friends Sunday March 22, 2009 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home
