Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Valentine. Erma Katherine Borszich passed away on July 18, 2015. Erma was born on Nov 23, 1925, at Old Lakeview, South Dakota, to Julias"Jake"and Abra"Lizzie"Landman Borszich.Erma spent her early years in the Old Lakeview and Crookston area. Her first paying job was at the Cecil Hoffman Café. Later she moved to Valentine where she was employed at the hospital as a cook. She was a loving care giver as she took great care of her father when her mother passed. Erma was actively involved in her church. Other organizations she was involved in included the Red Hats, Lions Club and Hospital Auxiliary. She was a dedicated blood donor. Erma loved to bake and was well known for sharing ice cream buckets full of cookies with hospital employees, friends and family. Her talent with embroidery brought smiles to family and friends as she created and shared fancy work in the form of table cloths, tea towels, quilts and pillow cases. Erma loved her family and especially enjoyed watching the little ones play. She enjoyed traveling and dipped her toes in both oceans. Erma was a true disciple and always put others before herself. She touched many lives, both young and old, and will be greatly missed. Erma is preceded in death by her parents Jake and Lizzie Borszich, her brother Harold Borszich, sister Inez Hronek, niece Carol Schwanz and great nephews and niece.
