Description	:	MRS. ELI NEESE Mrs. Eli (Esther) Neese, 86, longtime Webster City resident, died Tuesday evening at the Hamilton County Hospital where she had been a patient for one day. She had been in ill health the past year. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at St. Paul's Lutheran church with the Rev. Arthur Oswald officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery. Esther Janette Olson, daughter of John and Betty Olson, was born Feb. 28, 1888 in Hamilton county. She was reared and educated in Hamilton county. She was married Sept. 18, 1907 to Eli A. Neese, and the couple farmed in Hamilton county until they retired and moved into Webster City in 1955. She is survived by her husband; two daughters and three sons; Mrs. Harvey (Pearl) Hoshaw, Stratford; Virgil Neese, Fort Dodge; Mrs. Roy (Eunice) Bergman, Stratford; Wayne Neese, Woolstock, and Kenneth Neese, Webster City; 17 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Mabel Farr of Rockford, Ill. She was preceded in death by one daughter, who died in infancy; three grandchildren; her parents; three brothers and two sisters. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church and of the Senior Citizens club.
