She is the loving mother of Monte (Pam) Thomson of Magrath, Kay (Larry) Christensen of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Barbara (Robert) Shearer of San Antonio, Texas, Donna (Alan) Thompson of Lethbridge and Duane (Carma) Thomson of Calgary. She is the loving grandmother to 18 grandchildren; and one great grandchild. She is survived by her sisters: Millis Dyson and Rachel Perrett; and by one brother, J.A. "Buster" Romeril. Besides her loving husband, Rulon, Marguerite was predeceased by her parents and by one brother Born on January 20, 1919 in Barons, Alberta to George and Elma Romeril. Marguerite's early years were spent in Mammoth District southeast of Raymond, later moving to Raymond with her family. She married Rulon Thomson in 1942 and they settled in Magrath after the war where they raised their family. The joys of Marguerites' life were her family, services in her church and to others. She enjoyed needle work, ceramics and sewing, and always had time to listen to a friend. Marguerite served in all facets of her church and was currently involved in Geneological French extraction. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at CHRISTENSEN SALMON FUNERAL HOME, 327-10 Street South, Lethbridge on Wednesday, October 20, 1993 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., as well as at the church prior to the service form 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Magrath Stake Centre on Thursday, October 21, 1993 at 1:00 p.m. with Bishop Greg Strong officiating. Interment to follow in the Magrath Cemetery. If friends so desire, Memorial Tributes may be made directly to the Magrath Public Library Fund, Magrath, Alberta T0K 1J0.
