Description	:	Stratford Courier November 16, 1922 Mrs. Albin Nelson passed away at the Iowa Lutheran hospital in Des Moines, Thursday, Nov. 9, 1922. Her death cast a pall of sadness over this community where she was born and grew to young womanhood being the daughter and only child of Peter Sudderberg of Stratford. The remains were brought to this place and funeral services were held from the local M.E. church in charge of the pastor, Rev. Carl Hammer. Her death cast a pall of sadness over this community where she was born and grew to young womanhood being the daughter and only child of Peter Sudderberg of Stratford. Esther Rosina Sudderberg was born on a farm southeast of Stratford, Feb. 4, 1890 and on the day of her death was thus 32 years, 9 months 5 days old. She was married to Albin Nelson February 12, 1918 and to them was born one child, a daughter, Elaine. The husband and seventeen months old child, and her father survive her early passing, besides many loving friends and neighbors. Her mother, one brother, and one sister have preceded her in death. Deceased was taken sick with heart trouble three weeks before her death and from the first her condition was very serious. She was beloved and respected by a large circle of friends in this community and in Des Moines where she had lives since her marriage. Friends here extend sincere condolences to the grief-stricken husband, child and father.
