She passed away at the Lutheran Hospital at York, March 18, 1927, aged 8 years, 2 months and 18 days. She leaves to mourn her departure her father, mother, six sisters and five brothers as follows: Jeanne of St. Louis, Mo., John of Norcross, Minn., Duane of Cheyenne, Wyo., Hester of Aurora, Ray, Joyce, Elaine, Thelma, Glenn, Paul and Betty, who are at home; also, a host of relatives and friends. Ethel May had a very cheerful and affectionate disposition and though she suffered greatly during her short illness, she maintained the same spirit until the end. Ethel May will be greatly missed at home and by all who knew her. The funeral was conducted at the Geneva Methodist Episcopal Church by Rev. H. S. Langley at 2:30 p.m., Monday, March 21. Interment was in the Geneva Cemetery. The Nebraska Signal March 24th, 1927 page 1 ALSO: The pupils in District 32 were shocked to learn of the death of Ethel May Ogg. Ethel Mae was born near the Chelsea school and lived there until about two years ago, when she moved with her parents to near Shickley. Sympathy is extended the Ogg family. Berger and Mildred; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Weiss, Devee and Bernard; Arthur Archer, Glen Leola, Fern and Ralph; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Churchill; Mrs. Frank Jirkovsky and Mrs. Roy Yates and Mable.
