Nosal, who suffered a heart attack Dec. 6, entered an Omaha hospital earlier this week for possible by-pass surgery. Nosal was part of a small group who organized the sports program for LaVista. He was a member of the LaVista Parks and Recreation board and served as chairman for four years prior to his resignation in 1977. Survivors include sons Douglas of Tucson, AZ, Kenneth and Patrick of LaVista, daughter Denise of LaVista, mother Mrs. Frank Nosal of Columbus, NE, and sisters; Sylvia Mostek of Omaha and Gloria Schaefer of Columbus; brothers, Art of Elkhorn and Jack of Columbus.
