Read More	Frederick News-Post, November 19, 2001 Mrs. Eulah Susanna Plowman Gouker, 96, of 5826 Shookstown Road, Frederick, died Saturday, Nov. 17, at Citizens Nursing Home. Twice married, she was the wife of the late Millard C. Plowman and the late William I. Gouker. Born Nov. 16, 1905, in Harmony Grove, she was a daughter of the late William and Mattie Wachter Harris. Mrs. Gouker had been a homemaker for most of her life and for several years had worked at the rectory for St. John's Catholic Church. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church and the Gambrill Park Homemakers. Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Yvonne Plowman of Frederick; stepchildren, Donald Gouker and wife Kathleen, and Paul Gouker and wife Sandra, all of Frederick, Robert Gouker and wife Florence of Rancho Murieta, Calif., William Gouker and wife Irene of Laurel, Richard Gouker of Baltimore, and Alice Sommervell of Silver Spring; a grandson, Carroll Plowman of Frederick; 38 stepgrandchildren; and several stepgreat-grandchildren. She will be remembered by her friend, Polly Holton of Frederick. She was preceded in death by a son, Carroll C. Plowman Jr.; four stepsons, James, Lewis, William and Jack Gouker; and one brother, Jack Harris. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, at Faith United Church of Christ Cemetery, Charlesville. Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, Frederick, is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 116 E. Second St., Frederick, Md. 21701.
