Description	:	Eunice Miriam was the 8th child born to George and Sylvia Butterfield Morey. She married Havens C. Hall and proceeded him in death. Eunice is shown on the 1860 census as living with George and Sylvia Morey at age 16. She does not appear on the 1870 census. Havens C. Hall, age 20, is shown as living with George and Sylvia Morey on the 1870 US Census. He is listed as 'farmer.' He is shown in the 1870 census as being born in New York. Hall and proceeded him in death. Eunice is shown on the 1860 census as living with George and Sylvia Morey at age 16. She does not appear on the 1870 census. Havens C. Hall, age 20, is shown as living with George and Sylvia Morey on the 1870 US Census. He is listed as 'farmer.' He is shown in the 1870 census as being born in New York. Havens moved to Pleasant Plains, Iowa with his father in 1865 where he met Eunice. Havens' father, Hiram Hall, married Eunice's sister Martha Ann Morey Truman, a widow, which made Eunice Martha Ann's sister and daughter-in-law! Eunice and Havens were married on 29 May 1867. He was five years her junior. Eunice died a little over a year later, perhaps of consumption. Her burial place is unknown at this time, but thought to be the Hamilton Cemetery in Pleasanton, Decatur CO, IA. No tombstone was found in 2013. After the death of Eunice, Havens is found in Page County, IA in the 1880 US census. He is listed as a carpenter, age 29, remarried to Hettie with two children. His place of birth in 1880 is listed as Michigan which is correct rather than New York. In the 1850 US census, Havens is 7 months old with his family in Mackinac CO, Michigan.
