Description	:	HEMINGWAY — Eunice Powers Snowden, 87, widow of Farrar E. Snowden, died Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at a Georgetown nursing center. Mrs. Snowden was born in Hemingway, a daughter of the late Itly Wilson and Helon Bass Powers. She was a retired sales person and was a homemaker, a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, where she was secretary and treasurer for 38 years and was a Sunday school teacher.She was a graduate of Union High School. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2008, at Mount Zion Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, will be in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Tidelands Community Hospice House, 2591 N. Frasier St., Georgetown, SC 295440. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2008, at the funeral home.
