Read More	Wife of William ******************** Cherokee Sentinel, Feb. 21, 1896, page 3: Died Mrs. Eva Warner, wife of William Warner, passed away on Saturday, February 15, aged 54 years. She had been seriously ill for the past two months and has been a great sufferer for the past 8 years, at which time she fell upon the ice breaking one of her limbs. She was born in Sweden in 1844 coming with her parents to the United States in 1850 and settled near Ottumwa, Iowa, where she resided until 1866, when she came with her parents to this part of Kansas. At the age of 14 years she was converted and joined the Methodist Episcopal church and has lived a consistent member ever since. She was at the time of her death a member of the Foreign Missionary Society, and held a life membership in that organization. In ___ she was married to her bereaved husband, Wm. Warner. She was the mother of five children, two of whom survive her. Her eldest son, F.M. Warner, is now foreman on a paper at Pullman, Washington, and her other son, Larson, was at her bedside during her sickness and death. Two sisters and one brother survive her: Mrs. J.F. Price and Mrs. D.A. Payne, of this city, and John Larson, of Monroe, La. She was a good woman, beloved by all who knew her, and her sturdy Christian character made her a benediction to all who came in contact with her. When she knew she must die she said she was all fixed years ago, that she was ready to depart. The M.E. church was crowded to the door, as her funeral took place on Sunday afternoon, and she was laid to rest in the Cherokee cemetery. It has been only a few years since her father and mother were laid to rest and her grave is beside theirs. Thus we go, one by one.
