Description	:	From The Wolbach Messenger, April 4, 1974, transcribed by Linda Berney: Eva Kolar, daughter of Iver and Maria Petersen Rasmussen, was born December 13, 1894 at Fremont, Nebraska. At an early age she moved with her parents to the Wolbach area, where she attended rural school and grew to womanhood. On October 10, 1921, she was united in marriage to Frank Kolar in Howard County. Read More	From The Wolbach Messenger, April 4, 1974, transcribed by Linda Berney: Eva Kolar, daughter of Iver and Maria Petersen Rasmussen, was born December 13, 1894 at Fremont, Nebraska. At an early age she moved with her parents to the Wolbach area, where she attended rural school and grew to womanhood. On October 10, 1921, she was united in marriage to Frank Kolar in Howard County. The couple resided on a farm south of Wolbach until 1959 when they retired and moved into Wolbach. Mr. Kolar died in November of 1963. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the American Legion Auxiliary of Wolbach. She departed this life on Tuesday, April 2nd at the Howard County Community Hospital in St. Paul at the age of 79 years. Surviving are four sons, Leon, Roy, Earl and Glen, all of Wolbach, one sister, Mrs. Marie McClelland of St. Paul, 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Preceding in death were her husband, three sons, James, Kenneth and Guy, step-mother Catherine Rasmussen, one brother, Marius and her parents.
