He departed this life Sunday, November 24, 1963 at the age of 71 years, 10 months and 24 days. He was a member of the armed forces during World War I. Kolar was born Dec. 30, 1891 at Wolbach, the son of Fabian and Anna Kolar. He departed this life Sunday, November 24, 1963 at the age of 71 years, 10 months and 24 days. He was a member of the armed forces during World War I. He married Miss Eva Rasmussen Oct. 10, 1921 in Howard County. The couple farmed south of Wolbach in the north part of Howard County until 1959 when they retired and moved into Wolbach. Mr. Kolar was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Ray Mapes Post 236 of the American Legion at Wolbach. Survivors in addition to his wife include five sons, Leon, Roy, Earl, James and Glen, all of Wolbach; one sister, Mrs. Anna Forbemius of Fort Wayne, Ind.; four brothers, Ed and William of Wolbach and Adolph and George of St. Paul, Minn; and 16 grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons, Thomas and Kenneth, a brother Charley and an infant brother and infant sister.
