Ev was born in Orondo, WA to Clyde L. and Lena Sonney Trapp. Ev had one sister, Edith Sheets, and two brothers, Lowell and C. Landon Trapp. She attended Orondo School and Wenatchee High School. On February 26, 1930, she married Robert E. Conley in Brewster, WA. Ev had three children; her daughter, Jeanne Hanan (Darrell) and sons, Richard Conley (Pat) and Robert Dale Conley (Emily). She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings; her husband; and her son, Dick. Ev or "Granny," as she was widely known, had seven grandchildren, Janet Lovelin, Jerry Hanan, Bob Hanan, Mike Conley, Gary Conley, Robin Brown and Andrew Conley. She also had 14 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Granny's extended family also included many members of the community. With her open door policy, she enjoyed many close friendships. Although too numerous to list, the family does recognize all the people Granny was blessed to have in her life, but would like to express their gratitude to Georgia Ashworth, for her unselfish compassion and care. Ev was a member of the Orondo Ladies Club, Orondo Community Church, Order of Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile and Jolly Circle. She always loved the orchards and was an accomplished picker, sorter and packer. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed working in her yard, growing a garden and loved canning the fruits of her labor. A Viewing is scheduled for Thursday, May 6, 2010, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., with a Graveside Service on Friday, May 7, 2010, at 10:00 a.m., at the Orondo Cemetery. Following the Service will be a lunch at the Orondo Community Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Orondo Community Church.
