Description	:	FULLERTON — Evelyn Bosak, 82, of Fullerton died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, at Golden Living Center. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Fullerton. The Rev. Richard Whiteing will officiate. Burial will be in the Fullerton Catholic Cemetery. Palmer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Bosak was born Oct. 14, 1931, at Farwell to Floyd and Marcella (Kezeor) Gorecki. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emil Bosak. Survivors of the immediate family include two sons and daughters-in-law, Duane and Pat and Daryl "George" and Christy, all of Fullerton, and a sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Dan Boss of Columbus. Also surviving are her aunt and uncle, Margaret and Synfred Wozniak of St. Paul; four grandchildren, Kevin (Jillian) Bosak of Omaha, Krista Bosak of Overland Park, Kan., Jake (Melissa) Bosak of Grand Island and Nick (fiance, Kate Zoucha) of Fullerton; and five great-grandchildren, Jaylin, Kinslee, Adalin, Breklee and Jacey. Evelyn grew up on a farm west of Farwell and graduated from Farwell High School in 1950. Following graduation, she moved with her parents to Genoa, where they owned and operated the Gambles Store. While working there she met her husband-to-be, Emil Bosak. They married in June of 1953 and remained in the area to farm. Evelyn worked for 18 years in the dietary department at Beverly Heath Care. She also cooked at the Sportsmen's Club near Fullerton. She had a baking business, making more cakes than she could count. Her best advice was "The best exercise is work." She loved gardening and had a big flower garden. She said it was her therapy. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and St. Ann's Altar Society and a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and also was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary, which honored her with a Mother of the Year award. She also was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
