Description	:	Ezra Short, son of the late Joseph B. Short and Christina (King) Short, was born Feb. 1, 1890, near Archbold, Ohio, in which vicinity he lived, spending the last number of years in Archbold. In youth he confessed Christ as his Savior, and united with the Central Mennonite Church, where he faithfully served and attended. On March 5, 1912, he was united in marriage with Mary Wyse. Read More	Ezra Short, son of the late Joseph B. Short and Christina (King) Short, was born Feb. 1, 1890, near Archbold, Ohio, in which vicinity he lived, spending the last number of years in Archbold. In youth he confessed Christ as his Savior, and united with the Central Mennonite Church, where he faithfully served and attended. On March 5, 1912, he was united in marriage with Mary Wyse. Four sons and one daughter were born to this union. About one year ago he underwent surgery from which he recovered, but about two months ago the second surgery became necessary. He accepted his affliction with amazing endurance, being very grateful for doctors and nurses care and for all visits made to him. On Dec. 22, 1958, he departed this life to be with the Lord at the age of 68 years, 10 months, and 21 days. Left to mourn his passing are his sorrowing wife, four sons and one daughter, Earl J. of Delta, Ohio, Glenn of Tucson, Arizona, Wilmer, Chester and Letha (Mrs. Verden Beck) all of Archbold. Also 13 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; six brothers, Emanuel, Simon of Archbold; Elmer of Holland, Ohio; John, Joe L of Archbold; Ira of Wauseon, Ohio; four sisters: Mrs Mary Beck, Mrs. Elmer Werder, Barbara (Mrs. Clifford Armstrong), Anna Mae, all of this vicinity, besides a host of relatives and friends. His parents, two brothers, and three sisters preceded him. He will be missed by his family, whom he so much appreciated, also the church and community.
