Description	:	Ezra M. Waring was born at Pennyan, New York, Aug. 18th, 1848, and died at his home at Middle Branch, Nebr., December 2nd, 1917, aged 69 years 3 months 14 days. At the age of 7 years he moved with his parents to Iowa in which state he resided 25 years. On August 19th, 1873 he was united in marriage ot Eugenia Bruce. Waring was born at Pennyan, New York, Aug. 18th, 1848, and died at his home at Middle Branch, Nebr., December 2nd, 1917, aged 69 years 3 months 14 days. At the age of 7 years he moved with his parents to Iowa in which state he resided 25 years. On August 19th, 1873 he was united in marriage ot Eugenia Bruce. To this union were born four children, Arthur, who died when 11 years of age, Mrs. Alice [error - Allie] Carter of Bruning, Nebr., Mrs. Maud Conant of McHenry, North Dakota and Roy of Middle Branch, Neb., his wife, three children and 17 grandchildren survive him. In May 1880 he moved with his family on a homestead near Middle Branch, and although they moved away and were gone a few years they soon returned and have resided at or near Middle Branch ever since. 5 or 6 years ago he suffered a stroke of paralysis since which time he has been unable to walk, only when assisted by his wife who cheerfully assumed full charge of the helpless man, and cared for him almost alone until the end. Mr. Waring was a man who was highly esteemed by all who knew him and although he longed to be released from his misery he leaves a vacant place in the hearts of loved ones, that can never be filled. The funeral was held at the home Monday, December 3rd, and was attended by a large gathering of friends and neighbors. He was buried in the Lambert cemetery beside his little son.
