His father, mother, four brothers, David, William, John and Richard, and two sisters, Julia Cleave and Alice Robinson have preceded him in death. He united with the Baptist church in early manhood and remained strong in that faith until the end ---- his last intelligible words being, "The Gift of God is Eternal Life." He was a member of the fraternal order of Court of Honor. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church Tuesday afternoon in charge of Rev. Alexander of Farmington, and the remains were placed in the Bonaparte cemetery.
