Description	:	FANNIE DE BOER Fannie, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter De Boer, was born Dec. 30, 1922, at Hull, Iowa, and died on Aug. 1st, 1937. Four weeks before her death she was brought to the local hospital and was immediately operated upon for appendicitis. At first things looked favorable. Everything was done for her that the doctors and nurses could do but of no avail, for her Heavenly Father called her home. She will be greatly missed by the family circle and by her many friends. She leaves to mourn her departure her beloved father and mother, two loving sisters and two brothers, Mae, Julia, George, and Henry. Funeral services were held Aug 4th, 1:30 from the home, 2:00 o'clock at the Chr. Ref. Church, in charge of Rev. Haan, who spoke words of encouragement and also warned the living to be prepared. Remains were laid to rest in Hope cemetery. Sioux Center News 1937-08-17.
