Description	:	DIED: At the home of her parents in this place, Monday, October 1, 1888, Fannie Chatterton, age 14, of malarial fever. Fannie was a bright scholar, a member of the 7th grade and at the funeral services her school mates of that room were all present, many of them with floral offerings to express their affection for a loved and lovable companion. She was a member of the Methodist Church having joined about a year ago. It is impossible to measure the affliction to her parents caused by the loss of their older child and daughter. They are stricken grievously and the sympathy of the whole community goes out to them in their great sorrow. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Campbell, at the M. E.
