Description	:	OBITUARY October 10, 2002 "Morning Sun" Pittsburg, Kansas Fay E. Reeves, 86, of Arma died on October 9, 2002 at Hospital District No. 1 of Crawford County in Girard. He was born on September 13, 1916 in El Dorado Springs, Missouri to Elijah and Bessie (Bowman) Reeves. He was a retired businessman who had owned and operated Reeves Furniture in Pittsburg. He married Glenda Yarnell. They later divorced. On October 21, 1981, he married Judy Foster in Miami, Oklahoma. She survives. He was born on September 13, 1916 in El Dorado Springs, Missouri to Elijah and Bessie (Bowman) Reeves. He was a retired businessman who had owned and operated Reeves Furniture in Pittsburg. He married Glenda Yarnell. They later divorced. On October 21, 1981, he married Judy Foster in Miami, Oklahoma. She survives. Additional survivors include three sons, Edward Reeves and Bobby Purkey, both of Pittsburg, and Donald Eugene Reeves of Arma; one daughter, Carol Nicholson of Kansas City, Missouri; two sisters, Norma Bailey of Grove, Oklahoma and Marie Olson of Erie; three brothers, Donnie Reeves, Larry Reeves, and Wayne Reeves, all of Chanute; seven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Reeves; and two sisters, Ethel Robertson and Marjorie Neely. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Englevale Cemetery with Rev. Steve Cole officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bedene Funeral Home in Arma.
