Read More	Ferdinand R Fred Rerucha Obit Fred Raymond Rerucha, 86, died April 24, 2002, in Seward. He was born Nov. 14, 1915 to Joseph P. and Anna Pauline (Divis) Rerucha in Butler County. He attended rural schools in Butler County. He was a World War II veteran. Mr. Rerucha married Velma L. Bartels Aug. 21, 1941, in Beaver Crossing. On Feb. 11, 1978, he married Naomi (Craige) Bingham at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Seward. Mr. Rerucha was employed with Seward Motor Freight as a semitrailer driver for 25 years and retired in 1978. He then served as custodian at St. Vincent for three years. He was a member of St. Vincent and a life member of Seward Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4755. He was preceded in death by his wives, Velma L. Rerucha in 1972 and Naomi P. Rerucha in 2001; four brothers, Louis, Charles, Theodore and Benjamin Rerucha; two sisters, Martha Zima and Albina Kozisck, and two grandchildren, Shannon and Tessa Poliak. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Diana Rerucha, Olive Branch, Miss., daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Dale Yates, David City, Marcia Rerucha, Kearney, and Debra and Jerry Poliak, Seward; eight grandchildren, 10 greatgrandchildren; brother, William Rerucha, Boulder, Colo.; and sisters and brother-in-law, Hattie Voboril, Omaha, Cclestinc "Sally" Vanis, David City, Helen and Leslie Nelson, Seward, and Adeline Geis, Seward. Funeral services were April 27, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Seward with the Rev. Brad Zitck officiating. Casket bearers were Adam, Eric and Kevin Lenz, Jerry and Travis Poliak and Jeff Yates. Honorary casket bearers were Elizabeth Arnold, Laurel Harness, Brenda Lenz, Kristina and Theresa Rerucha and Kacy Poliak.
