KNOX ACCIDENT — Flora Kay (Holler) Knox , 76, of Accident, died Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at her home, surrounded by her family. Born Jan. 16, 1940, in Vindex, she was the daughter of Esther (Crosco) Holler, Oakland, and the late Roy Holler. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Carl "Bear" Knox ; two brothers, Jim Holler, and infant brother, Randy Holler. She enjoyed sewing, embroidering and working at Friend's Stockyard with "special daughter," Vicki Friend. Kay also worked at Hecks Dept. Store, Wisp Resort and Maust's Home Care. She is survived by four daughters, Sheila (Randy) Lewis, Carla (Paul) Miller, Cindy (Randy) Miner and Teresa Minnick, all of Accident; three sons, Roger (Brenda) Knox , Grantsville, Yogi (Susan) Knox and Andrew (fiancée, Brandy) Clark, all of Accident; three brothers, Tom, Larry and Mike Holler, all of Oakland; four sisters, Janet Brant, Linda Moon and Betty Lou Holland, all of Oakland, and Barbara Fike, Accident; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 26722 Garrett Highway, Accident (McHenry), on Saturday, April 9, 2016, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted in the funeral home on Sunday, April 10, 2016, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Peter Suwak officiating. Interment will be in the Glade Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Hospice of Garrett County. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.newmanfuneralhomes.com.
