Description	:	Florence Genevieve (Sacher) Gottula of Steinauer, Nebraska, died on October 4, 1991, at the age of 95 years, 10 months and 15 days. She departed this life at the family home where she lived since her marriage. Florence was born at Tecumseh, Nebraska, on Dec. 20, 1895, the eldest child of Josephine (nee Fencl) and Anton Sacher. She was married to Samuel Fredrick Gottula on Sept. 16, 1919, and they began their married life on the Gottula farm which had been homesteaded by his father, Christian Gottula. Read More	Florence Genevieve (Sacher) Gottula of Steinauer, Nebraska, died on October 4, 1991, at the age of 95 years, 10 months and 15 days. She departed this life at the family home where she lived since her marriage. Florence was born at Tecumseh, Nebraska, on Dec. 20, 1895, the eldest child of Josephine (nee Fencl) and Anton Sacher. She was married to Samuel Fredrick Gottula on Sept. 16, 1919, and they began their married life on the Gottula farm which had been homesteaded by his father, Christian Gottula. Eleven children were born to this union; seven girls and four boys, with ten now living. She was a lifetime member of St. Anthony's parish, a devout Catholic, and a devoted wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her father in 1913; her mother in 1969; her daughter Theoda Bernadt in 1973; her husband Samuel in 1974; her grandsons Gregory Gottula, Michael Pella, Dreux Johnson, and Alton Gottula; her granddaughter Susan Gottula; her sister Cecilia Bloss; and her brother Ernest Sacher. She is survived by children: Gerard & wife Phyllis Gottula; Justin Gottula; Zeno and wife Janet Gottula; Bernadette & husband Donald Hoeller; Dolores & husband Darrell Johnson; Ethelreda & husband Clemence Pella; Mary Smith; Paul Gottula; Josephine Supencheck; and Rosella & husband Denis Cuka. Also survived by her sister Helen Donahue of Denver, Colorado. Rosary service with visitation and Mass of Resurrection on Sat., Oct. 5, 1991. Interment was at St. Anthony's cemetery.
