Description	:	Mrs. Florence Bell was born October 14, 1880, at Firth, Neb. She died November 20, 1959, at the York General Hospital. She was the youngest of nine children born to Mr. and Mrs. Andrew J. Melinger. One sister, Mrs. Mamie Jay of Lexington, still lives. Florence Mellinger and Ira Joshua Schooler were married June 24, 1899, at Alton, Kas., and established their home at Superior, Neb. Read More	Mrs. Florence Bell was born October 14, 1880, at Firth, Neb. She died November 20, 1959, at the York General Hospital. She was the youngest of nine children born to Mr. and Mrs. Andrew J. Melinger. One sister, Mrs. Mamie Jay of Lexington, still lives. Florence Mellinger and Ira Joshua Schooler were married June 24, 1899, at Alton, Kas., and established their home at Superior, Neb. To this union were born two children; a daughter, Mrs. William Jacque of Geneva, and a son, Kenneth Schooler of Lancaster, Kas. April 6, 1922 her husband, Ira passed away. In August, 1927, she married Shelley Bell at Seward. The couple made their home at Geneva, but for the past few years have lived at Waco, Bradshaw and York. Mrs. Bell received a pin from the York Rebekah lodge this spring for 40 years of faithful service. Surviving besides her husband; son; daughter and sister are three grandchildren, SFC William John Jacque Jr. of Fort Ord, Cal., Mrs. Feliccinne Becker of Geneva, Jackie Dean Jacque, also of Geneva and four great-grandchildren. Services were held Tuesday, November 24, at the Metz Funeral Home in York, with Rev. Marvin Garlock officiating. The Morning Star Rebekah lodge of York also held memorial services preceding the regular services. Burial was in the Geneva Cemetery. The Nebraska Signal (Geneva) December 3, 1959 page 9.
