Florence Lucille was born February 8, 1919 in Easton, Ill., to Edward and Edith (Yetter) Busch. They later moved to Rockham and then to Miller. On November 13, 1936, Florence married Louis "Ike" Heezen in Pierre. They had three children, James Leslie, Jeanette Joyce, and Nancy Lou. They lived on a farm in south Hand County until 1973 when they moved to a farm near Virgil, and later to a farm near Cavour. Florence was active in the Pleasant Valley Presbyterian Church and the Ladies Aid. She and Ike enjoyed many fishing trips with their grandchildren, Sondra, Sherry and Troy. Florence belonged to several card clubs, enjoyed reading, watching the Lawrence Welk Show and putting together jigsaw puzzles. She is survived by her son, Jim Heezen; daughter, Nancy Johnson; son-in-law, Tom Fahey; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ike; daughter, Jeanette; two granddaughters, Lori Heezen and Sondra Johnson Saidi; two brothers, Loren Busch and Wilbur Busch; five sisters, Mabel Jackson, Lorene Miessner, Louise Jones, Pauline Stoudt and Ethel Busch.
