Description	:	GABLER, FLORENCE OLEDINE OLEDINE—Florence Oledine Cole was born March 12, 1897 on a farm two miles west of Fairmont. She passed away July 6, 1949, at the Clarkson Memorial hospital in Omaha after several weeks of illness. She was 52 years old. December 15, 1915, she was united in marriage to William L. Gabler, and to this union was born a son, William A. She spent her entire life in this community, being a willing worker and an active member of the Cloverleaf Club, having just been honored as a twenty-five year member. She was... Read More	GABLER, FLORENCE OLEDINE OLEDINE—Florence Oledine Cole was born March 12, 1897 on a farm two miles west of Fairmont. She passed away July 6, 1949, at the Clarkson Memorial hospital in Omaha after several weeks of illness. She was 52 years old. December 15, 1915, she was united in marriage to William L. Gabler, and to this union was born a son, William A. She spent her entire life in this community, being a willing worker and an active member of the Cloverleaf Club, having just been honored as a twenty-five year member. She was also a member of the Royal Neighbors of America, the Rebekah lodge, and the West Blue Aid society. She had united with the Methodist church in early girlhood. She lived for her home and family and they were ever in her heart and thoughts. Many years of her care and loving devotion to their interest is unquestionable proof of her love for her own. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. She was a hard worker and always active. "A loving one from us has gone The voice we loved is stilled. A place is vacant in our home Which never can be filled." She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, William L. Gabler, one son and daughter-in-law, William A. and Agnes, four grandchildren, Catherine Oledine, LeRoy William, Dayle Gene and Ann Marie; her mother, Mrs. Carrie Cole; one sister, Mrs. Clara Kiester; nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services were held in the Methodist church, Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. L. A. Fishel officiated. Mrs. W. R. Dorrance, Mrs. Charles Little, Oliver Moul and Keith Pierce sang, with Mrs. A. P. Stewart at the organ. Pallbearers were Floyd Lott, Ralph Lefler, John Bettger, Harry Kelch, Irwin Patton and Charles Krejci. Relatives from out-of-town in attendance included Mrs. Carrie Cole, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kiester and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Walker of Geneva; Mrs. Clara Kiester of Des Moines, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Kiester and Mrs. Velma Kiester and Linda of Norfolk; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Cudaback and Mrs. Gladys Rogers of Central City; Mr. and Mrs. Everett Cudaback of Grand Island and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Cudaback of Lincoln. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery. The Nebraska Signal July 1949
