| Description | : | Florentha Loud was a daughter of Caleb and Jerusha (Clark) Loud of Westhampton, Hampshire County, Massachusetts. She married Lucius Parsons on 1 May 1833 in Westhampton, MA. They left on the day of their marriage for Ohio, by team to Albany, canal boat to Buffalo, NY, by schooner to Fairport, Ohio, and by team to Kirtland, Ohio, arriving there about 15 May 1833. This place was then the location of the Mormons, under the leadership of Joseph Smith, Jr. On 15 May 1837 they moved to Huntsburg, Ohio to the farm he had previously purchased, which was their final residence....
