Flossie was born in Chanute on January 4, 1918, the daughter of Arthur Edwin and Edna C. Underhill Turner. She graduated from Chanute High School in 1936 and was a lifelong resident of Chanute. She was united in marriage to Willis F. Taylor in June 7, 1937. He preceded her in death on May 18, 1989. Flossie was born in Chanute on January 4, 1918, the daughter of Arthur Edwin and Edna C. Underhill Turner. She graduated from Chanute High School in 1936 and was a lifelong resident of Chanute. Flossie was a lifelong member of the United Brethren in Christ Church in Chanute. (Now the New Life United Brethren Church in Chanute.) She enjoyed sewing, reading, cooking, and delighting in her family. She enjoyed watching KU basketball. She loved her church and devoted her life to serving and witnessing for the Lord. Flossie’s family regarded her as their Angel on Earth and appreciated her ongoing words of inspiration and prayers of love and support. Everyone who met her thought she was a special lady.
