Description	:	Floyd D. Dixon, 93, son of Henry and Virginia (Harlan) Dixon, was born in Green City, Mo., Dec. 9, 1901. He died July 15 at the Mills Memorial Hospital in San Mateo, Calif., after a short illness. He attended Superior High School, graduating in 1919 and Lincoln School of Commerce. He died July 15 at the Mills Memorial Hospital in San Mateo, Calif., after a short illness. He attended Superior High School, graduating in 1919 and Lincoln School of Commerce. He then went to work for Ideal Cement Co., in thebusiness (sic) office, where he was associated with the late Ed Noren. On June 19, 1922, he was united in marriage to Blanche Copeland. They lived in Superior for more than 55 years. He retired from the cement plant in 1965. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Superior and a former Brodstone Memorial Hospital and Carnegie Library director. Floyd and Blanche later moved to Ellsworth, to be near their daughter, Charlotte. Blanche died in Ellsworth, Oct. 21, 1978. Floyd then moved to San Mateo, Calif., to be near his son, Dr. Gene Dixon. In 1980, he was married to Mary Milo. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Blanche, and his daughter, Charlotte A. Nichols, in 1994. He is survived by his wife, Mary Dixon; son, Gene; daughter, Nancy Miller, Fremont; a sister, Mildred McFadden, Emmette, Idaho; 12 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. from Megrue-Price Funeral Home Chapel, Superior, The Rev. Patterson Culligan officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Superior Express, Thursday, July 20, 1995
