Description	:	Floyd Ival Magee was born to James and Lou Ella Magee in Missouri August 5, 1890 and passed away on June 30, 1965 while a patient in the Thayer County Hospital in Hebron. He was united in marriage to Rosa Bigler (sic) on Oct 26, 1912. To this union were born two children, Glen Ival (sic) and Ruby Mae (sic), both died in infancy. Ival came to the Chester community with his parents at a early age. He spent most of his life in the Chester community as an operator of a livery barn, and hauler and trucker.... He was added to the Christian Church in Chester Nov. 7, 1909. Ival's mother was called home while he was a small boy, and his dad married Susie Kephart. She was the only real mom Ival ever really knew. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his sister, Mrs. Kephart of Chester, and his brother Irvin of Hastings. He is survived by his stepdad, W.H. Fraley, a sister Mrs Martha Morhbacker of Marysville, Ks., a brother, Homer of LaHabra, Calif., many step brothers and step sisters, a host of neighbors and friends. Ival was a great help to many of the men and women in the Chester community during his life. He was the chauffer (sic) of several of his neighbors and friends. Funeral services were held Saturday, July 3, from the Chester Christian Church with the Rev Millard White in charge. Vocalist was Lin White, accompanied by Mrs. Ray Truss. Pallbearers were Harold O'Neal, Walter Thoman, Robert O'Neal, Clifford Davidson, LeRoy O'Neal and Adrian Dake. Interment was made in the Chester cemetery (sic), Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
