Description	:	Floyd LeRoy Lusk, third son of Mr. and Mrs. A.O. Lusk was born in Fairmont, Nebraska, on January 20, 1898, and died at St. Francis Hospital in Grand Island, Nebraska, July 28, 1923, having reached the age of twenty-five yeaers, six months and eight days. He was married on June 12, 1923 by Rev. L.R. DeWolf of York to Miss Gertrude Peters, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Peters of north Fairmont, and a member of this year's graduating class of the Fairmont high school. Lusk was born in Fairmont, Nebraska, on January 20, 1898, and died at St. Francis Hospital in Grand Island, Nebraska, July 28, 1923, having reached the age of twenty-five yeaers, six months and eight days. He was married on June 12, 1923 by Rev. L.R. DeWolf of York to Miss Gertrude Peters, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Peters of north Fairmont, and a member of this year's graduating class of the Fairmont high school. They immediately established a home at Grand Island, where for the past two years he was employed as foreman of the boiler room at the American Beet Sugar Factory. He was a member of Company D, 134th Infantry, Nebraska National Guards, with the rank of corporal, and of the Eagles Fraternity of Grand Island. On July 13, he was taken suddenly ill, and on July 18 was removed to St. Francis Hospital, where all was done that loving hands and medical skill could do. He leaves to mourn his loss, his young wife; his parents; four brothers, Arthur of Ansley, Frank, Ray and Ralph of Fairmont; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Harrington of Bridgeport, Nebraska; Mrs. Alva Tice of Orleans, Nebraska and Mrs. Ethel Plock of Comstock, Nebraska, beside a host of other relatives and friends. The remains were brought to the home of his parents in Fairmont and funeral services held from the M.E. Church, Monday, July 30 at 3:00 p.m., in charge of Rev. Thompson of the Geneva Methodist church, following a short service at the home at 2:30, and interment made in the Fairmont cemetery.
