Description	:	Ralph Oliver Lusk was born on a farm near Burress, Neb., December 18, 1901. He departed this life Tuesday forenoon, July 5, 1960, at a hospital at Scottsbluff, Neb., at the age of 58 years, 6 months and 7 days. He was married to Bertha Hickmon of York September 28, 1920. They had lived at York, Cedar Rapids and Minden before moving to Scottsbluff in 1949. He was employed as a baker until he was forced to retire in 1957. He departed this life Tuesday forenoon, July 5, 1960, at a hospital at Scottsbluff, Neb., at the age of 58 years, 6 months and 7 days. He was married to Bertha Hickmon of York September 28, 1920. They had lived at York, Cedar Rapids and Minden before moving to Scottsbluff in 1949. He was employed as a baker until he was forced to retire in 1957. To this union three children were born, Maxine Toomk and Thelma Taylor of Kimball and Virgil of Minden. Mr. Lusk suffered a serious heart attack July 13, 1957. His condition grew steadily worse until at last the Lord took him from his sufferings to eternal glory. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife and the above mentioned children; six granddaughters, ; one sister, Alva Tice of Orleans; a brother, Frank of McCool and many other relatives. Preceding him in death were his parents, five brothers and two sisters. Funeral services were held at Scottsbluff Thursday, July 7, and at Fairmont Saturday, July 9, at the Methodist church with Rev. George M. Seick delivering the sermon. Lawrence Strine of Minden, brother-in-law of Thelma Taylor, sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "No Night There," accompanied by Mrs. A.P. Stewart. Interment was in the Fairmont cemetery. Pallbearers were Donald Moravec, Roger Hickmon, Howard Tice, dick Tice, Harry Helton and Elmer Browitt.
