This good lady has gone to join her husband, whom she outlived only a few weeks. It will be remembered that he died from the effects of a kick by his horse. She was taken with pneumonia some ten days ago which soon became past control by the physician's skill, and she passed over the river October 19, 1901, leaving two children, two grandchildren, four sisters and two brothers to mourn her loss. All these except one sister who lived in California were with her in her last sickness. Frances C. Kidwell was born in Marion county, Mo., December 22, 1837, and married Elijah J. Dungan March 19, 1865, and they lived in this county all the rest of their days. She joined the Baptist church at Oak Ridge with her husband in 1865, and was a faithful christian, dying in the faith. LOCALS. Mrs. Elijah Dungan of near Shelbina died last Sunday afternoon and was buried at Oak Ridge cemetery Monday. Mrs. Dungan was the widow of Elijah Dungan who died only a few weeks since.
