Description	:	Frances Ellen Dunken, daughter of Daniel and Elizabeth Dunken, was born in Richland county (sic), Wisconsin, on March 20, 1857, and died September 8, 1925, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Brown, in Nelson, at the age of 68 years, 5 months and 19 days. On November 9th, 1873, she was united in marriage to George Benton Ferebee. To this union eleven children were born, two dying in infancy. Ida A. died in June, 1904; Grover C. died in September, 1922, and Ruby L. died in November, 1924. The husband died June 29, 1921.... McDowall of Central City, Nebr.; Samuel D. of Stromsburg, Nebr.; Arbor B., Ora V., and Dorothy June Brown of Nelson, Nebr. There are twenty-six grand children. In September, 1898, she united and was baptized in the United Brethren church at Pleasant View, Nebr. There is a brother, Albert of Grant's Pass, Oregon, and a sister, Caroline Motter of Chehalis, Washington, left to mourn; also many other relatives and friends. The funeral service was held in the Nelson Methodist church Wednesday, September 9, 1925, at two o'clock, conducted by the pastor, Vincent R. Beebe. A quartet from the Methodist choir sang. There was a goodly gathering of neighbors and friends to pay tribute to this good Christian woman. The body was laid to rest in the Nelson cemetery. The sympathy of their many friends is extended to the bereaved. Unnumbered comforts on my soul, They tender care bestowed Before my infant heart conceived From whom those comforts flowed.
