Description	:	Barss Corner was shocked by the sudden death of a respected resident of long standing, Mrs. Frances (Sephronia) Kathleen Nause who passed away on sunday morning, November 23. Born at Watford, on October 28, 1899, she was the daughter of the late John and Jemima (Rhodenizer) Moore. After spending a number of years in the eastern United States, she returned to Nova Scotia where she married Freeman Joseph Nause and they took up residence at Bridgewater in 1933. Read More	Barss Corner was shocked by the sudden death of a respected resident of long standing, Mrs. Frances (Sephronia) Kathleen Nause who passed away on sunday morning, November 23. Born at Watford, on October 28, 1899, she was the daughter of the late John and Jemima (Rhodenizer) Moore. After spending a number of years in the eastern United States, she returned to Nova Scotia where she married Freeman Joseph Nause and they took up residence at Bridgewater in 1933. Later that year they moved to Barss Corner which was their home throughout the remainder of their lives. Her husband, a merchant, predeceased her in 1965. Mrs. Nause is survived by one son, John, a university professor now living in Halifax; two step-sons, Fred, an electrician in Brockville, Ontario; and Lawrence, a C.N.R. employee of Halifax; and three granddaughters; four brothers, Archie, Barss Corner; Evanda, Watford; Clifford and Harold, Annapolis Valley; and four sisters, Maud (Mrs. Lloyd Lunn), Saint John; Betty (Mrs. Hazelwood), Harbourville; Cora, Watford; and Ethel (Mrs. Pelrene), Bridgewater. A service was conducted by Reverend J.H. Heenan at Langille's Funeral Home, Barss Corner on Monday evening. Father Heenan officiated at the funeral mass at St. Joseph's Church, Bridgewater, on Tuesday. Burial was in the Catholic Cemetery in Bridgewater. Pallbearers were Llewellyn and Douglas Moore, George DeLong, Merrill Wentzell, Orlin Joudrey, and Arthur Langille. (written on obit - 1969) Rosemary Rafuse
