Description	:	Mrs. Jemima Moore 1955 Bridgewater Bulletin The death of Mrs. Jemima Moore, widow of John Moore, occurred at her home in Watford at an early hour on Monday morning at the age of 89 years. She was a daughter of the late Solomon Rhodenhizer and the late Catherine Rafuse Rhodenizer and was born in Dayspring. Surviving are six daughters and five sons, Mrs. Hallie Williams, Saint John; Mrs. Laura Drew, Stanburne; Miss Cora, at home; Mrs. Bessie Hazlewood, Harbourville; Frances (Mrs. Freeman Nause), Barss Corners; Ethel (Mrs. Bert Pelrine), of New York; Archie and Dennis, of Barss Corners; Evanda, Watford; Harold, Barss Corners; and Clifford, Stanburne. She is also survived by 45 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren. A son, Wilfred, predeceased her sixteen years ago. One brother also survives, Alonzo Rhodenizer of Boston; one sister, Bessie (Mrs. Bishop), Mass., survives. Also surviving are a large number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon, May 17th, at the Barss Corners Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Arnold H. Mitton, assisted by the student pastor, Rev. Mr. Fraser. Hymns sung were "Rock of Ages" and "What A Friend we Have in Jesus." Pall bearers were her three sons, Harold, Clifford, and Evanda, and son-in-law, Freeman Nause. Flower bearers were four grandsons, John Nause, Victor, Sherman, and Douglas Moore, alos Leo Eisner, New Germany. Burial was in the Barss Corners Cemetery. With thanks to Rosemary Rafuse.
