Joscelyn Death Comes Unexpectedly People of Belt and vicinity were shocked on Wednesday morning to hear of the death of Francis E. Joscelyn in the early morning hours in the Deaconess hospital. The deceased had been ill with stomach trouble for several weeks and for some time had been in serious condition but lately hopes for recovery had been held by his friends. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Joscelyn of Otter Creek, and is survived by his widow, Myrtle Dunston Joscelyn; a baby son; his parents and one brother, Archie Joscelyn of Helena, who with his wife was at home during the last few days and made frequent trips to the hospital. The Joscelyns were stockmen on Otter creek having owned and farmed the old Tolliver place for a considerable number of years. Frank was married a few years ago to Myrtle Dunston of Belt and to them a few months ago was born a son who is still too young to have known his father. Frank was the mainstay of his father in the handling of the ranch and his loss will be keenly felt. The younger brother, Archie, is a writer of no mean ability and has been making his home in Helena. The Joscelyns have always been counted among the best people, thrifty, substantial and dependable. Deceased was a member of the local Masonic lodge and the funeral will be held from the M.E. church, of which he was a member, on Friday at 2 p.m., the services at the grave following the Masonic rites.
