Description	:	Frank Alfred Stow was born 23 Oct 1899 in Tower, Cheboygan, Michigan to Charles Alfred Stow (1864-1915) and Mary Jane Marmie Burnard Stow (1877-1968). In 1910, at age 11, his family resided in Santa, Kootenai, Idaho and his father was employed as a farmer. He had five siblings beside himself: Howard Arthur (1896-1968), Ruth Evelyn (1897-1967), Lyle Albert (1900-1995), Harold C (1906-1963), Charles Vernon (1907-1967) and Thelma G (1915-1968). Read More	Frank Alfred Stow was born 23 Oct 1899 in Tower, Cheboygan, Michigan to Charles Alfred Stow (1864-1915) and Mary Jane Marmie Burnard Stow (1877-1968). In 1910, at age 11, his family resided in Santa, Kootenai, Idaho and his father was employed as a farmer. In 1915, when he was age 16, his father, Charles, died on May 9th in Santa. About 1917 he registerd for the draft due do World War I. He was 18, was a laborer for G.M. Staudiker Construction Company in Vancouver, Clark County, Washington. He was medium height, slender build, blue eyes and brown hair. By 1920, when he was 21, his mother had moved the family to Fall City, King County, Washington where his brothers and uncles were engaged in the timber industry. He was employed as a laborer in a logging camp. He died in Jan 1924 at the age of 24.
