Ruth's parents were married on 21 May 1895 in Cheboygan, Michigan. She was the second born of six other siblings: Howard Arthur (1896-1968), Frank Alfred (1899-1924), Lyle Albert (1900-1995), Harold C (1906-1963, Charles Vernon (1907-1967) and Thelma G (1915-1968). Ruth's parents were married on 21 May 1895 in Cheboygan, Michigan. In 1910, age 13, the family resided in Santa, Kootenai County, Idaho and her father was employed as a farmer. In 1915, age 18, her father, Charles, died on May 9th when he was 51 years old and later that same year on 4 Nov she married James William Bracken (1887-1968) in Santa, Benewah County, Idaho. On 10 Oct 1916, age 19, her first born was Walter Charles (1916-1960) in Idaho. On 5 May 1918, age 21, her second born was Grace Evelyn (1918-2001) in Ione, Pend Oreille County, Washington. In 1920, age 23, She, James (32) Walter (3 2/12) and Grace (1 4/12) live on Houghton Street in West Ione, Pend Oreille, Washington where James works as a laborer in a lumber camp. On 27 Dec 1924, age 24, her third born was Lyle M (1924-2004), also in Ione. They moved to Fall City, King County, Washington by the time their fourth child was born, Donald E (1930-2011) on 26 Jul 1930. In 1935, age 38, they lived on Orchard Street in Fall City. In 1940, age 43, they lived on Orchard Street in Fall City and James cut pulp wood earning $500 and Walter worked as a shingle mill packer earning $750. In 1942, age 45, her husband, James registered for the World War II Draft. He was 54 years old, b in Wray Colorado; contact was Mrs. AE Miner, Evelyn's mother. James worked for Pierce & Stow Shingle Mill, owned in part by his uncle Howard Stow, located in North Bend, King County, Washington. In 1957, age 60, they lived at 1929 42nd Ave SE, Seattle, King County, Washington. James was a guard at Puget Sound Bridge and Dredge Company. On 9 Dec 1967, age 70, Ruth died and is buried at the Fall City Cemetery in Fall City. Her Husband James died a year later on 21 Jun 1968 and is buried next to her.
