In 1881, age 4, she and her family lived in Wellington Centre, Ontario, Canada, they were members of the Church of England and her father was employed as a carpenter. In 1893, age 16, she and her family emigrated from Canada to Tower, Cheboygan, Michigan. In 1895, age 17, she married Charles Alfred Stow on May 21st in the St. James Church in Cheboygan. They had seven children: Howard Arthur (1896-1968), Ruth Evelyn (1897-1967), Frank Alfred (1899-1924), Lyle Albert (1900-1995), Harold C (1906-1963), Charles Vernon (1907-1967) and Thelma G (1915-1968). In 1900, age 23, they lived on and worked their farm. Mamie's parents, brothers and sisters lived nearby. In 1903, at age 26, she and Charles were both naturalized. In 1910, at age 33, Charles was listed as a farmer, married 14 years and lived in Santa, Kootenai County, Idaho. Large irrigation systems were being developed along the Snake River, opening up many many farming opportunities. They homesteaded and settled in Santa which is a beautiful mountainous area dotted with small farms along the St. Maries River. In 1915, at age 38, she became a widow when Charles died. He was buried in the Santa Cemetery. In 1916 she married Thompson and the marriage lasted three years. In 1920, at age 43, Mamie was listed as a widow and head of the household. Her children were: Howard, age 24, truck driver for the county roads; Frank, age 20, laborer at the saw mill; Lyle, age 18, donkey engineer at a logging camp; Harold, age 14; Charles, 12 & Thelma, 5. In 1921, at age 44, She married Albret Eugene Miner on the 14th of April in Pierce County, Washington. In 1930, at age 53, they lived on Snoqualmie Road in Fall City, King County, Washington, had real estate worth $3000, Alfred worked in a mill shop, In 1952, at age 75, she again became a widow when Alfred died and was buried at the Fall City Cemetery. In 1962, at age 85, she moved to Issaquah Villa, in Issaquah, King County, Washington. In 1968, at age 91, she died and was buried next to Alfred in the Fall City Cemetery.
